Tayra

PII Data Protection for .NET

Tayra is a commercial .NET library for protecting personally identifiable information with field-level encryption and GDPR-compliant crypto-shredding. Mark the fields that hold personal data with attributes, and Tayra takes care of encryption, decryption, and secure erasure.

Declarative PII Marking

Annotate properties with attributes such as [PersonalData] and [DataSubjectId]. No encryption plumbing scattered through your domain code.

AES-256-GCM Encryption

Authenticated field-level encryption with per-field random nonces, and separate keys for different categories of personal data.

Crypto-Shredding

Honour right-to-erasure requests by deleting a data subject's key. The encrypted data becomes permanently unreadable, with mask values you control.

Searchable Encrypted Fields

HMAC blind indexes let you look up records by encrypted values, including compound and array indexes, without exposing the plaintext.

Compile-Time Validation

Roslyn analyzers catch incorrect PII attribute usage while you build, long before it reaches production.

Pluggable Key Stores

Start with the in-memory store for development, then switch to a production key store with a single line of configuration.
